Brief

The team at This is Doing are globally recognised as being thought-leaders in the Design and Innovation space. We are working rapidly on new initiatives and have a requirement for a service design graduate or service design student to work directly with us over a period of 4-weeks only.

In this project, you will be required to design and facilitate research sessions to help us validate new propositions for the This is Doing Private Network (new service).

About us

We work flexibly at This is Doing, and are a fully remote organisation. We place trust in everyone to do their job and deliver to the best of their ability. 

We see this role as being an opportunity for someone looking to get additional experience and would expect someone to be available at least 20-hours a week for the period of this project.

Successful candidate

  • Have experience researching and validating experiences to help create journey maps
  • A self-starter with an inbuilt desire to learn more and help create new services that meet the needs of people
  • Ethically minded, and naturally curious
  • Be able to define and describe opportunities to improve the existing service experience
  • Have their own technical set up that allows them to complete the project

Deliverables

  • Understand and define the AS:IS experience to date
  • Working with the core project team help define a near future TO:BE Journey Map
  • Define expectations from the existing This is Doing community (300+ people)

Process

  • All applicants will receive an email confirming receipt
  • Selected applicants with be invited for a 30-minutes interview online
  • Successful candidate is required to start 22nd February 2021
